Dr. Gianfranco Buffardi, a psychiatrist and existential therapist, champions integrated therapy as “the future of therapeutic ways in psychiatry.” He argues that “Existential Therapy is the best psychotherapy to integrate with other treatments,” emphasizing that its principles foster the essential mental attitude needed for effective collaboration among mental health professionals.

Gianfranco Buffardi, MD, Ph.D. is a psychiatrist, practicing existential therapist, and professor of psychotherapy. He holds degrees in medicine, psychology, philosophy, and a  Ph.D in bioethics.

Integrated therapy is the future of therapeutic ways in psychiatry, because the sharing of more treatments can overcome the difficulties of complex diseases. But integration is a mental attitude that needs a specific dedicated training that provides professionals the means to correctly deal with the integrated work.

Existential Therapy  is the best psychotherapy to integrate with other treatments; furthermore, training according to the principles of existential therapy will favor the evolution of a correct mental attitude among all the different mental health professionals.
